Today we read The Tailor of Gloucester by Beatrix Potter. I like this poem;
"Buz, quoth the blue fly; hum, quoth the bee; Buz and hum they cry, and so do we!"

We're going to daddy's show now!

This is what I learned today at school:
We just finished chapter three, now we're at chapter four in Sarah, Plain and Tall. We learned about Joseph Whiting Stock and we studied the portrait of Baby with Dog.
There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. Proverbs 21:30
Enjoy your day!
Thank you,

Welcome to Maya's blog

Mama Misty here! This is our first blog of many (I hope)! We are a homeschool family going through the first grade. What an adventure! We decided to start a blog to track our progess. Maya is very excited to share her school days with you. She will type most of the blogs herself, unless it's too long. And she will share pictures that she takes of science projects and other daily activities. We are looking forward to this new endeavor.
See you soon
